Questions you might have

What's the difference between counselling and hypnotherapy?
Counselling is talking therapy — exploring thoughts, feelings and experiences to gain insight. Hypnotherapy uses a relaxed, focused state to work directly with the subconscious mind, where habits and emotional responses are stored. Combined, they’re more powerful than either alone.
No. Clinical hypnosis is simply a deeply relaxed, focused state — similar to being absorbed in a film. You remain aware, in control, and can come out of it at any moment. You can’t be made to do anything you don’t want to.
It varies. Some focused issues (like a specific phobia or habit) can shift in 3–6 sessions. Deeper work around trauma, anxiety or long-standing patterns often benefits from longer-term support. We’ll review together regularly so you’re always in the driving seat.
